Very spacious, helpful staff, comfortable bed, new decorations
The shower is not hot at all. Internet connection is not stable. No elevator and the stairs are just so confusing, very hard to find your room indeed! The transportation is not very convenient, the nearest tube station is 5-7 mins walk.
Clean and new and homely near to the Bayswater tube (A must)
The colours, the design, the shower and the floow heating in the bathroom.
The double bed was a bit small, there was only one bedside table (and lamp), there was a constant buzzing from the switchboard (at least I think it was from there) and there weren't many sockets. But it was a very pleasant room.
Verry good ! The best place on this price in London !
Very good hotel! We really enjoyed staying there! Not far from two tube stations - bayswater and queensway just in a five minutes walk. A lot of cafe, pubs, gift shops and supermarket around with a good price. Just renovated hotel provides clean rooms and the whole hotel territory. Towels were changed daily, linens every three days. Very friendly and helpful staff. You can ask them for a adapter for British plugs, to lift your luggage upstairs,a map of London or something else- they will always help you with a smile. Continental breakfast was quite good. Rooms are good as well, ours was not so big, but with enough place for everything, and you have even electric kettle, cups, tea, coffee ang sugar in room for free. And of course free wi fi everywhere in the hotel. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and will stay at it myself again.
There is no lift
A bit small room, but it was OK
breakfast is very poor. Staff was not totally helpful when we needed and rooms are very poorly acoustic isolated. This means we could hear people walking around, staff talking on mobile phones and organizing the kitchen. Value for money is poor when you cannot have a nice night of sleep.
Staff. Location. Price.
Electricity box in room makes a lot of noise.
Newly fitted room, courteous helpful staff, good location and sensible price
Bathroom very clean and new, but quite small
Newly decorated but a bit bleak. Nice large room. Wifi worked well.
Freshly decorated and still in process of being finished: No towel rail; no pictures or detail wall decoration; one coat hanger; no proper wardrobe: no room safe; basement room that had no outlook; and was too hot despite turning down the radiators and opening the windows. One shower head was loose and came away when moved.
Very helpful staff and the room was large and clean. It was very comfortable for family. There is only a shower, not bath for young children.
We wanted to extend our stay for a night (a Wednesday), but the rate was 150% what we paid for the other nights. That seemed a little too much.
The staff is so kind. The Hotel has a good location. The room was clean and the bed was confortable.
That at first the man of the reception tell us that you don't have our reservation, and that you will offer us just one night there, but then you respect our reservation and that was so gentle. I don't like that the room was at the third floor. And we expected more from the breakfast. Maybe Eggs, bacon...
Value for money very polite personell big rooms for London definately going back
No towel holders in bathrooms or heaters
The staff was really nice, and our room was cleaned and new every night when we got back. The room was pretty and comfortable and on the first floor. There were many restaurants and places to eat nearby. The street was quiet, safe, and clean. It was also only a five minute walk to Hyde Park and a 10 minute or less walk to Paddington Station. I would definitely stay here again.
Every time you wanted to come into the hotel a doorman had to open the door for you from inside because there was no doorknob outside. Sometimes we had to ring the doorbell a bit because the doorman couldn't see us. (We had the same guy each time and he was really nice though)
